We start by helping you build a powerful and compelling argument – with the right information delivered at just the right time.

Then we add engaging delivery, drawing on techniques used by speakers, presenters, news anchors and TV reporters to command their audience.

Our combination of rigorous communication theory, relevant case studies and hands-on practical exercises will give you the frameworks and techniques you need to help you speak simply, logically and memorably.

You will learn:

• A framework to build a compelling argument to persuade your audience with logic
• Ways to engage your audience emotionally so they hear, feel and believe your viewpoint
• Techniques to look good and sound good no matter how nervous you feel
• How to manage hostile questions and make critics and hecklers work for you

As well as exploring key communication theories, you will complete a series of practical speaking skills exercises. You will also have the opportunity to work on the structure, content and delivery of a real speech or presentation.

Format: A hands on practical group workshop.

Duration: This session may be run as a one or two day workshop, depending on your requirements. We also offer an option for a program of shorter sessions.
