In just one day we’ll give you the frameworks, tools and techniques you need to be confident in a media interview. Tailored to your specific needs, this workshop is ideal for those who are new to media training.

You will learn:

  • Tools to plan your media interview and sharpen your messages
  • Techniques to handle difficult questions and stay focused
  • The art of the sound bite, delivering strategic and irresistible news grabs every time
  • What to do and what not to do – tips and tools to keep you safe and effective
  • Sounding great on radio, looking great on TV
  • Negotiating your media interview – from the first contact through to following up after your news appears

You will practice your media interview skills with exercises and realistic interview role plays performed by a working journalist.
