Principal Trainer, Geoffrey Stackhouse, BA MBA
A former management consultant with more than 25 years experience in journalism, Geoffrey has a unique perspective on how to engage strategically and effectively with the media. His disciplined and proven approach has helped hundreds of senior executives improve their media performance.
He has worked on both sides of the microphone. As a journalist he has written for publications like BRW and the Sydney Morning Herald. He has also worked in-house and as a PR consultant helping leading organisations protect and promote their reputations.
After completing an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) he joined the management consulting firm Strategic Vision where he completed engagements in strategy and research. He then worked at Director level for Hill & Knowlton, the international public affairs consultancy.
As well as a BA (Syd) and an MBA (AGSM), Geoffrey has nationally recognised training qualifications. He has lectured in effective communication at UTS and in the AGSM’s full time MBA program. He also facilitates a number of specialist training courses in the PRIA’s professional development program.
