Welcome to the Clarity blog page, your one-stop-shop for understanding how the news media works and what you can do to improve your media and presentation skills.

We are passionate about helping our clients make the most of every media opportunity by getting their messages across clearly and effectively. So through our blogs we will be highlighting a range of tips, traps and techniques to help make your next media experience memorable and successful.

Our media trainers - Bernard O’Riordan, Sharon Leifer and myself - are all trained journalists. We’ll be randomly blogging about people and events that catch our attention in the media.

We’ll throw a few brickbats along the way, and the occasional bouquet, as we analyse the real-life triumphs and tragedies of high-profile public figures from politicians and company executives to sport stars and celebrities.

We want you to be able to learn from the experiences of people you can identify with, so we’ll highlight what they do well and some areas they could probably improve on.
